BOOK

Our intimate Late Night Jazz series presents sensational music in the sultry setting of the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room.

Uncut magazine have described Philip Kane’s sound as ‘Al Green sings Leonard Cohen’, and after the release of his first album Songs for Swinging Lovers, praised his ‘magnetic white soul voice’.

In this Elgar Room concert, Kane will be joined by his band The Expendables – Suzanne Barbieri, Llio Millward and Johnnie Fiori (vocals), Peter Wilkinson and Werner Kristiansen (guitar), Mark Hunter (drums), Pedro Segundo (percussion), Dan Drury (bass) and Mark Kavuma (trumpet), to perform music from his recent Flowers and Ledges album, which was awarded four stars in MOJO.
